Get paid
Connect your own Square or Stripe, and money from your store goes to your account without passing through ours.
Somebody wants to buy the thing. This is the five minutes between that and the money being yours.
1. Connect your account
Open Money, Payments and press Connect Square or Connect Stripe. It opens their site, you sign in to your own account, and it comes back.
Payments
No merchant account connected
If you have neither, skip it. Your store still opens and says plainly that it is not taking payments yet, which is better than a Buy button that fails.
2. Check it says Live
After connecting, the page says Live or Test mode.
Test mode takes no real money. It is not a setting on this page and there is no switch for it here: the mode comes from the account you connected. If it says Test mode and you wanted real payments, disconnect and connect the live account.
Payments
Your sales are paid into this account.
What we take
Nothing. Square or Stripe take their card fee, the same as they would at your counter. Nothing of ours sits on top of a sale, and no money passes through us on its way to you.
Your $39 a month is billed separately, to your own card, under Settings, Plan.
When the money arrives
That is Square's or Stripe's schedule and their dashboard, not ours. We do not hold it, so we cannot move it faster or tell you a date. Money, Payouts shows a Stripe account's balance and payout history, read from Stripe; Square is not readable that way.
What you see here
Money, Transactions is every charge and refund, one line each; a refund made in Square is reported back here, one made in Stripe is not yet. Sell, Orders lists what people have bought, with a receipt sent in your name, not ours. Growth, Overview is how the store is doing.
If a buyer says the payment failed
- Check Money, Payments still says Live. A disconnected account is the usual cause.
- Check the offer still exists and is published.
- For a service, check it has a length. The checkout refuses a service without one.
If it is none of those, ask us from Help, Support and say which offer and roughly when.
