Help / Buying from a store

Getting the thing you bought

Files, courses, appointments and websites, and what to do when a link has expired.

About 3 minutesRead as Markdown

Everything starts from your receipt page. See your receipt if you do not have it open.

A file

Press Download. Your link works for 72 hours.

When it expires, nothing is lost. Open the receipt again and press Download again, and you get a fresh one. That is the intended way, and it works as many times as you need it.

The short life is on purpose. It means a link forwarded to somebody else stops working, and your purchase does not.

A course

The lessons are on the receipt page itself. No sign-in, no second link, no account.

Press a lesson and it plays. Each one is served on a link made for you at that moment, which stops working a few hours later, so the video cannot be handed around.

Some courses have a Free preview lesson that plays for anybody. If you have not bought it yet, that is the one to watch first.

An appointment

If you booked a service, the shop will be in touch to arrange the time. Your receipt says so, and the shop has your email from the checkout.

Nothing else is needed from you.

A website

If you bought a website, press Claim your website. That makes it yours on sitelaunch, on the design you bought, and puts you in its editor.

Keep the receipt page until you have done it. The link works until you use it, and it is the only way to claim.

Claiming makes you a sitelaunch customer with a monthly fee, which the page tells you before you press it.

If the download will not prepare

You will see "That download could not be prepared. Try again in a moment." Wait a minute and press it again.

If it keeps happening, write to the shop and say what the page said.
