Let somebody else work on your store

Invite a partner, a designer or an assistant, and decide how much they can change.

You want somebody else to load the products, and you do not want to hand over your password.

Invite them by email

Open Settings, Team. Under Ask somebody in, put in their email and pick what they may do. They get a link that works once and stops working in seven days.

Nobody on that list can sign in until they click it.

What each one may do

• Owner is you. Everything, including the subscription and the card.
• Admin runs the store: offers, pages, orders, bookings, and inviting others.
• Developer works on the store without touching the money side.
• Viewer can look and not change.

Two things that catch people out

You cannot invite somebody as an owner. Handing over an account is the one move that can lock you out of your own billing, so it takes a deliberate change on the roster with you already there, not an email clicked in a hurry.

Only an admin or an owner can invite. A developer cannot send one, because they would not then be able to see it, cancel it, or know it had been sent. A power whose consequences are invisible to the person using it is worse than not offering it.

Taking access away

Remove them from Settings, Team. It takes effect immediately, and anything they already did stays as it is.
